Flame Health Optical been instructed on a new opportunity for a Qualified Dispensing Optician based in Central Nottingham. Our multi-award-winning independent client is an expanding, dynamic independent optician that provides premium eye care solutions and a bespoke personal service. They are now actively looking for an ambitious, proven performer to come and join their team.

The Dispensing optician will need to have a demonstrable track recordof achievement coupled with strong commercial awareness, an eye for detail, a significant interest in optical fashion trends and be up to date with the latest clinical advancements and be able to do this autonomously. As you will be responsible for providing a premium service, from a customer service perspective, it is all about the patient journey and exceeding expectations throughout.

• Provide top-notch clinical judgment and hands-on approach.
• Provide expert dispensing advice and help patients with frame and lens selection
• Develop rapport with the team and contribute to driving the business forward.
• Help with advanced services including Lens, repairs and fittings
• Be an integral part of the team, always looking for ways to improve

The successful candidate will be:

• Qualified and GOC registered Dispensing Optician.
• Demonstrable experience of working as a Dispensing Optician.
• A commitment to exceptional customer care and professional growth
• Confident communicator with strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Proactive, motivated, and commercially aware.
