This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join a dynamic Adults Community Team on a part‑time, ongoing locum basis. You will play a key role in supporting adults with communication and swallowing difficulties, working across community settings to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care. What you will do:

Provide high‑quality speech and language therapy services within the Adults Community Team

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for adults

Support individuals with communication and swallowing difficulties to maximise independence

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery

Educate and support patients and families throughout the therapy process

Requirements:

HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist

Experience working with adult community caseloads

Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills

Ability to work independently across community settings

Commitment to delivering patient‑centred, evidence‑based care
