0.6 FTE Band 5 Assistant Psychologist in the Paediatric Neuropsychology Service at NUH, within the children’s neurorehabilitation team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in the care and wellbeing of children with neurological conditions and injuries. The post holder will undertake baseline clinical neuropsychology assessments (children), link to schools and provide some support and brief interventions for children with an acquired brain injury and their parents/carers under the supervision of the clinical neuropsychologist.
There may also be opportunities to support service and evaluation.
The successful applicant will be welcomed to the Department of Clinical Psychology & Neuropsychology within the trust, which currently employs over 30 clinical psychologists, assistants and trainee clinical psychologists across a range of medical inpatient and outpatient services including Adult and Paediatric Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neurorehabilitation Services, Stroke, NPH, Paediatrics, Burns, Cystic Fibrosis, Oncology, Cleft Lip and Palate, Major Trauma, Intensive Care, Renal and Haematology.
We have excellent links with the University of Nottingham and regional Clinical Psychology Doctorate Courses.
