Overview
Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Orthotist looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Orthotist for a fixed term contract to join our dedicated in-house Orthotics department at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a diverse and rewarding clinical role, offering experience across both inpatient and outpatient settings, and across a wide range of specialties.
Teamand Environment
As a key member of our team, you'll join a supportive group of 10 Orthotists, 6 technicians, and 6 administrators. The department is equipped with an on-site workshop with CAD-CAM scanner and milling machine, Rodin and iPad scanning tools, and access to the latest orthotic technologies. We are an innovative and collaborative team, working closely with orthotic companies and clinical partners across the Trust to develop new, effective treatments for our patients.
Most of your clinical work will be based at the Queen s Medical Centre and City Hospital campuses, with possibility of occasional work in the community. Multi-disciplinary teamwork is thoroughly encouraged and the trust has numerous multi-disciplinary and complex case loads.
- Provide clinical orthotics care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with orthotic companies and clinical partners to develop new, effective treatments for our patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and handle complex case loads.
- HCPC registered
- Preferably members of BAPO
