We are seeking a Practice and Performance Manager to join our dedicated healthcare team at HMP Nottingham.
As Practice and Performance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the integrated healthcare team, which includes primary care, mental health, GP services, dentistry, podiatry, and optometry. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the healthcare administration team
- Overseeing day-to-day administrative operations
- Monitoring service performance and producing insightful reports
- Supporting service delivery through data analysis and process improvement
- Liaising with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth coordination
- Presenting performance updates to senior healthcare leaders and stakeholders
This is a pivotal role that ensures our healthcare provision is efficient, responsive, and aligned with community standards.
Main duties of the jobWe're looking for someone who is:
- Organised and analytical, with a keen eye for detail
- Confident in managing teams and coordinating across disciplines
- Experienced in healthcare systems (e.g. Systm One) and reporting tools
- A strong communicator, able to engage with staff at all levels
- Adaptable and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced, secure environment

Person Specification Knowledge & Experience- Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
- Systm One knowledge and experience (essential)
- Experience of leading a team in a busy office / administrative function
- Leading, motivating and inspiring the team on a daily basis
- Experience of training / presenting to others (desirable)
- Experience of coaching / mentoring others (desirable)
- Effectively with IT and any relevant external parties on infrastructure, reporting and data-related issues when required.
