Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role located in the City of Nottingham. The Deputy Social Care Manager will oversee care services, supporting daily operations and ensuring the delivery of compassionate and high-quality care to clients. Responsibilities include case management, supervising and training staff, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. The role may also involve addressing clients' care needs and supporting their overall well-being as well as managing staff rotas and our on call service.

Qualifications

5 years ex

  • perience with Case Management, including assessing and coordinating tailored care plans
  • Skills in Training and developing care staff to ensure high standards of service delivery
  • Proficiency in Elder Care and providing support to meet unique needs of elderly clients
  • Knowledge of Social Services and familiarity with policies and regulations in the care sector
  • Awareness of basic principles in Medicine to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead a team effectively and manage operational challenges
  • Relevant qualification or certification in health and social care or a related field, minimum Level 5 qualification in social care.
  • Previous management or leadership experience in the care sector is an advantage
