About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead and mentor a dedicated team within our Nottingham solo placement home. This is a stable, low‑risk environment focused on emotional wellbeing, routine, and personal development—not a setting where you face aggressive behaviours daily.
The home supports one young person, who is settled, engaging, and responds positively to encouragement.
The Senior Support Worker will ensure high standards of care, promote positive outcomes, and act as a role model for the residential team. This Senior Support Worker position is ideal for someone passionate about progression and making a meaningful difference.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and support residential care staff to deliver child‑centred care
* Oversee daily operations and ensure safeguarding compliance
* Support the creation and delivery of individual care plans
* Build positive relationships and promote emotional wellbeing
* Work collaboratively with management and external professionals

What We’re Looking For
* QCF Level 3/4 (essential);
Level 5 (desirable)
