Location:

Lenton, Nottinghamshire (Hybrid working)

Salary: c £26,560 + additional rates for on‑call and sleep‑in shifts

Hours:

Monday–Sunday, Full Time, shifts between 9:00 am‑9:00 pm, rotating, Hybrid working

The role is full‑time and involves providing immediate support to survivors of abuse, acting as the first point of contact for victims, working closely with clinicians and emergency services, attending emergency hospital appointments, and handling telephone and e‑mail enquiries. The position also requires on‑call and sleep‑in shift duties as needed.

• Act as the first point of contact for victims, clinicians and emergency services
• Liaise with health‑care professionals to provide highly confidential information
• Attend emergency hospital appointments with survivors of abuse
• Handle telephone and e‑mail enquiries when required
• Handle urgent on‑call and sleep‑in requests during emergencies, when required

• Previous experience working with vulnerable young people
• Passionate about supporting young people, calm and caring approach during sensitive situations
• Demonstrable ability to work with individuals who have experienced abuse previously
• Happy to attend hospitals on a lone basis with service users
• Available to work shifts between Monday‑Sunday, and be available for pre‑scheduled on‑call shifts
• Must be willing to have a new Enhanced DBS Check processed if successful
