ITU Nurse

Join Spire Nottingham Hospital as an ITU Nurse in Tollerton, Nottingham. This full‑time permanent role supports elective surgical patients in a critical care environment.

• Assess and plan patient care for a complex and changing caseload.
• Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
• Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
• Promote best practice in health, safety and security.
• Contribute to quality improvement.
• Promote equality, diversity and rights of patients and staff.
• Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.

• Registered Nurse.
• Post‑registration qualification in critical care.
• Experience in critical care (ALS/PILS/ILS).

• Recent critical care experience.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Work with minimum supervision.
• Competence across a range of critical care skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge.
• Demonstrate principles of accountable practice.
• English language proficiency to IELTS 7.0.
• Confident with MS Office and other relevant software.
• Demonstrate continuing professional development.
• Possess equipment and medical device competencies.
• Mandatory training including infection control and health and safety.
