We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in the Cardiology department.

This is a full‑time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

• Perform and interpret a wide range of non‑invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring.
• Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
• Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies.
• Accurately document all tests and results in patient records.
• Calibrate, maintain, and ensure the safe use of all cardiology equipment.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring informed consent is obtained.

• Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
• A degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
• Device or Echo‑cardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE).
