Nutrix Medical is seeking skilled and compassionate Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurses for flexible shifts in Nottingham
. We are looking for nurses with strong paediatric critical care experience who can confidently care for acutely unwell infants and children in a highly specialised environment.

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to critically ill paediatric patients requiring advanced monitoring and life‑support interventions.
• Manage ventilators, infusion pumps, and specialised paediatric equipment.
• Complete detailed assessments and create effective, family‑centred care plans.
• Accurately document clinical care and elevate any deterioration promptly.
• Work collaboratively with paediatric consultants, intensivists, and the wider MDT.
• Provide emotional support and clear communication to families during difficult situations.
• Ensure adherence to UK paediatric critical care standards and safeguarding protocols.

• Valid NMC registration as a Registered Children’s Nurse (RCN).
• Previous UK PICU experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of paediatric anatomy, physiology, and critical illness management.
• Confidence handling emergency situations and complex equipment.
• Up‑to‑date mandatory training, vaccinations, and right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
