Support Worker – Nottingham

Full‑time; £13.50 per hour; 3 × 12‑hour shifts per week (days & waking nights).

Role OverviewYou’ll work as part of a dedicated, hands‑on team supporting individuals with complex needs, helping them live safely and independently in their own homes.
Responsibilities- Support individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, personal care, cleaning, and budgeting.
- Encourage independence and build confidence through meaningful activities and community access.
- Act as a calm, reliable presence during difficult times, offering emotional reassurance and structure.
- Promote routines and relationships that help people feel safe, respected, and included.
- Monitor and record progress, recognizing and celebrating small wins daily.
- Work regular 12‑hour shifts, including waking nights, to provide consistent high‑quality care.
- Minimum of one year’s experience working in care or support (desirable).
- Compassion, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
- Confidence working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours.
- Basic IT skills for communication and record‑keeping.
- A team‑first attitude and commitment to delivering person‑centred care.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. All criminal convictions, including spent ones, must be declared.
