Our services span specialist rehabilitation and recovery, crisis support, NHS Talking Therapies, community wellbeing, dementia care, and support for children and young people.
We're now looking for an exceptional Head of Quality and Safety to join our Senior Leadership Team and help shape the future of quality, safety and continuous improvement across our organisation.
About the role:
The Head of Quality and Safety will lead our quality assurance, patient safety, corporate governance and organisational learning functions.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring robust governance and assurance systems are in place to support the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality services. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement, using insights from incidents, feedback, audits and lived experience to drive meaningful and lasting change.
Working collaboratively with leaders across Everyturn, you'll provide expert advice, support and constructive challenge, ensuring quality and safety remain at the heart of everything we do while contributing to the wider strategic direction of the charity.
Main duties of the jobKey responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for quality governance, assurance, patient safety and organisational learning across Everyturn.
- Lead and develop robust systems for incidents, complaints, safeguarding, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring learning from feedback, audits, data and lived experience translates into meaningful change.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing development of patient safety systems, including PSIRF.
- Oversee corporate governance, information governance and organisational readiness for inspections and external assurance activities.
- Build organisational capability in quality improvement methodologies and support services to deliver sustainable improvements.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Quality and Safety Team, providing visible leadership across the organisation.
- Contribute as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, supporting strategic planning, transformation and the delivery of organisational priorities.
