Overview
We are an established children's diabetes service supporting over 400 families in Nottinghamshire. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team composed of dietitians, diabetes specialist nurses, a support worker, a family therapist, and consultants. You will become an integral member of this team, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred dietetic care.
Responsibilities- Provide dietary advice to families with children and young people.
- Deliver group education and teaching sessions for schools and health‑care professionals.
- Deliver both in‑patient and out‑patient dietetic services.
- Attend multi‑disciplinary meetings.
- Collaborate with other specialties within the paediatric dietetic team as opportunities arise.
The team includes two dietitians, five diabetes specialist nurses, a support worker, a family therapist, and five consultants.
