Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Specialist Public Health Practitioner (Health Visitor) to join our Integrated Healthy Families Team within the Rushcliffe North Locality. Rushcliffe North Healthy Family Team provides a quality service delivering the Healthy Child Programme to the local population. We are an integrated service, working with children and young people aged 0–19 and their families.

Care will be delivered in line with the National and Local guidelines and public health priorities.

• Work as part of a team to deliver universal and targeted health services to the 0-19 year population and be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a defined caseload, managing and supporting a skill mix team.
• Develop excellent partnership working relationships to provide seamless services to children, young people and their families.

• Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visitor) qualification.
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to develop leadership and management skills.
