Job Overview

An exciting opportunity for highly motivated and enthusiastic radiographers to join our busy but friendly radiotherapy team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. Both permanent and fixed term positions at Band 5 are available.

This role covers all aspects of the Radiotherapy treatment floor with opportunities to rotate through pre‑treatment and brachytherapy areas.

• Provide safe and accurate radiotherapy planning and treatment to patients, maintaining confidentiality and dignity.
• Work flexible shifts within normal hours (07:30 – 20:00) throughout the working week.
• Rotate through the full clinical areas of the department under the direction of area team leaders and principal radiographers.
• Comply with ISO 9001:2015 quality system for the department.
• Participate in audit, clinical research and the development of techniques and equipment.
• Participate in the training and clinical education programme for student radiographers.

• HCPC registered therapeutic radiographer or final‑year student eligible for registration in 2026.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high‑quality patient‑focused care.
• Ability to work flexible shifts during normal working hours.
• Familiarity with radiotherapy equipment and planning systems (Elekta Versa HD, Agility Linacs, Ray Station, Monaco, Mosaiq).
