Position Overview

Are you an experienced PET-CT Radiographer or Technologist looking to work with cutting-edge technology in a specialist imaging environment? At InHealth's Nottingham Specialist Imaging Centre, you'll join a passionate, patient-focused team delivering high-quality PET-CT services that play a vital role in the diagnosis, staging and monitoring of cancer and other complex conditions. Every scan you perform has the potential to make a real difference to a patient's treatment journey.

Job Description
  • Perform high‑quality PET‑CT imaging examinations in line with clinical protocols and best practice.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and guidance, including IR(ME)
    R, IRR and ARSAC.
  • Provide outstanding patient care, supporting patients throughout their imaging journey with professionalism, empathy and respect.
  • Carry out routine quality assurance checks on imaging equipment and escal­ate any issues appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed to the highest standard.
  • Support clinical governance through audits, incident reporting and continuous quality improvement.
  • Manage clinical and administrative workflows to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment.
  • Contribute to stock management and ensure clinical areas remain fully equipped.
Essential Requirements
  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, Nuclear Medicine or an equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working within PET‑CT or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Registration with the relevant professional body where applicable.
  • A sound understanding of radiation protection legislation and clinical governance.
  • Knowledge of patient confidentiality, GDPR and the Caldicott Principles.
