What you will do:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provide detailed reports in line with departmental protocols.
  • Ensure informed consent by effectively explaining procedures and maintaining patient comfort and understanding.
  • Communicate findings empathetically to patients, offering support and guidance as required.
  • Effectively convey scan outcomes to clinicians and facilitate referrals to other departments when necessary.
  • Triage patient workflow within the clinic to enhance efficiency and collaborate with colleagues for optimal departmental performance.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using computerized documentation while complying with the Data Protection Act requirements.

Requirements:

  • Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is preferred to facilitate travel between multiple sites.
