Rushcliffe District are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Specialist Public Health Practitioner, (School Nurse) to join our Integrated Healthy Families Team within the Locality. Care will be delivered in line with the National and Local guidelines and public health priorities.

You will work as part of a team to deliver universal and targeted health services to the 5-19 year population and will be responsible for the day to day management of this cohort of children across North Rushcliffe and to aid this you will be managing and supporting a skill mix team.

You will be expected to develop excellent partnership working relationships in order to provide seamless services to Children, Young people and their families. This is a dynamic role which will provide leadership and expertise across Universal Children’s Services within the 5-19 age group, being a expert resource to all staff including Health Visiting as appropriate.

You will support the team to embed and manage organisational changes.

This post requires a knowledgeable practitioner with excellent communication skills and a desire to develop their leadership and management skills. You must possess the Specialist Practitioner Degree (School Nursing)

The base for this post will be decided on successful appointment.
