This is a part-time, on-site Senior Care Giver role based in Bingham. The Senior Care Giver will provide personal care and support with daily living activities, including assistance with mobility, hygiene, dressing, and meals. The role includes monitoring clients’ wellbeing, following care plans, administering or supporting medication in line with company policies, and documenting care activities accurately. The Senior Care Giver will collaborate with healthcare professionals, communicate with families or representatives as appropriate, and help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
Additional responsibilities include supporting social engagement, encouraging independence where possible, and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions promptly to the appropriate team members. On call duties as part of the role, this includes being in the background out of hours to support with emergencies and queries.
- Demonstrated experience in senior or adult care, including personal care, mobility support, and assistance with daily living tasks.
- Knowledge of basic health and safety procedures, infection control, and medication support in a care setting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, follow care plans, and adhere to regulatory and organizational policies.
- Relevant care-related qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or equivalent) preferred.
- Reliability and flexibility to work part-time shifts, including evenings or weekends as required.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to undergo background and reference checks.
- Previous experience in hospital, residential, or community care environments in the UK is an advantage.
