** We have an amazing opportunity for Support Workers/Healthcare Assistants to join our caring and support team at our Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre, our specialist centre in Kent, we look after adults with a brain injury or other neurological condition.

Set within the 12 acre grounds of a manor house, we specialise in intensive rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from a brain injury right through to residential care.

37.63 - FTEOn site role - Working on a rota basis

Salary: £26,861.71(FTE) per annum, pro rata
** What you'll be doing:
*** Build relationships with patients, which are open and two way
* Support patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme
* Establish methods of communication with patients, reducing barriers when necessary
* Assist patients with mealtimes where necessary
* Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
* Communicate any issues to the clinical team
* Accurately report and/or record work activities
* Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights.
** What you'll have:
*** A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible for our young people
* Experience working within the care sector / mental health would be an advantage but not essential
