Ashlands Care Home in Rainworth is looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Care Assistants to join our friendly team.
We have a range of full-time and part-time opportunities available, with flexibility around the rota. Whether you already have experience working within care or you're looking to start a rewarding career supporting others, we'd be happy to hear from you.
Previous care experience would be beneficial, but it isn't essential. What matters most to us is having the right attitude, a caring nature and a genuine desire to make a positive difference to our residents.
Available Shifts
We are looking for people who can work a variety of shifts, including:
* Day shifts: 7:00am – 7:00pm
* Night shifts: 7:00pm – 7:00am
* Part-time mornings: 7:00am – 1:00pm
* Part-time afternoons: 1:00pm – 7:00pm
We can offer flexibility within the rota and would particularly welcome applications from candidates who are able to work a mixture of days and nights.
What will you be doing?
As a Care Assistant, you'll play an important part in ensuring our residents feel comfortable, respected and well cared for.
Your role will include:
* Supporting residents with their day-to-day needs.
* Providing personal care in a respectful and dignified manner.
* Helping residents with mobility, meals and daily activities.
* Providing companionship and emotional support.
* Getting to know our residents and their individual needs and preferences.
* Supporting residents to maintain as much independence as possible.
* Working closely with colleagues to provide a high standard of care.
* Following individual care plans and maintaining accurate records.
* Helping to create a safe, welcoming and positive environment within the home.
About You
You don't necessarily need previous care experience, as we are interested in finding people with the right personal qualities.
You'll ideally be:
* Caring, patient and compassionate.
* Reliable and committed.
* Comfortable working as part of a team.
* A good communicator.
* Respectful of residents' dignity, privacy and individual choices.
* Flexible and willing to support the needs of the home.
Previous experience within a care home, healthcare or support environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
