The Senior Payroll Officer in Nottingham will manage and process payroll operations with precision and efficiency, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

This is a permanent Senior Payroll Officer opportunity paying up to £36,000 with hybrid working available.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and process end-to-end payroll operations accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Handle payroll queries and provide solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance department to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to relevant authorities when required.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary updates.
  • Support the team in improving payroll processes and systems.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and software.
  • Experience working in Bureau or Practice.
  • Experience managing end-to-end payroll.
  • Able to commute to our client's office in Nottingham.
  • A solid understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience working within the professional services industry is desirable.
