Are you passionate about people and recruitment? As a Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning Officer
, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our council's talent acquisition efforts. Your focus will be on developing inclusive strategies that attract diverse candidates, reduce vacancies, and lessen our reliance on agency workers. You will manage recruitment processes, oversee advertising and onboarding, and coordinate recruitment events. In

this dynamic role, you will:
  • Manage Recruitment:
    Oversee the recruitment process for various positions, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Coordinate Events:
    Organise recruitment events and interviews to attract top talent.
  • Support Training Programmes:
    Assist with various training initiatives and programmes to foster professional development.
  • Ensure Compliance:
    Maintain efficient recruitment administration and reporting to uphold our standards and policies.
  • Enhance Attraction Strategies:
    Develop and implement inclusive attraction strategies to engage a diverse range of candidates.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in recruitment and workforce planning, preferably within a public sector environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with recruitment software and databases.
