About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Application Support Analyst to join our growing team. This is an excellent role for someone early in their career who wants to develop both technical application support skills and core business analysis capabilities. You'll work closely with internal teams and key stakeholders to ensure our business applications run smoothly, while also helping to shape improvements and optimise processes.
ERP experience would be an advantage but is not essential; we’re more interested in someone with the curiosity, drive, and willingness to learn. This is a role where you'll be supported, mentored, and given the opportunity to grow.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first- and second-line support for core business applications, investigating and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and end users, translating requirements, troubleshooting problems, and offering guidance.
- Assist in analysing business processes and helping to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in small change initiatives, system enhancements, and testing activities.
- Produce clear documentation including user guides, process notes, and support materials.
- Monitor application performance, log and track incidents, and escalated issues where necessary.
- Support upcoming projects, migrations, and system developments as required.
- Build an understanding of key business functions and how applications support them.
- Some experience in an application support, service desk, IT support, or junior business analyst role (commercial or placement/internship).
- Strong problem‑solving ability and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills and confidence working with users at all levels.
- A willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and follow issues through to resolution.
- Basic understanding of SQL, data structures, or ERP/CRM systems (advantageous but not essential).
Salary: £30,000
