This role sits firmly in the overlay category supporting the wider sales team, stepping into opportunities to shape solutions, position the right Azure services and help customers understand the value they will get from working with a proven MSP.

You will not manage accounts after the deal. You will focus entirely on generating and closing Azure opportunities.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting sales teams on Azure qualified opportunities across infra, apps, data and security
  • Shaping customer conversations to uncover requirements and position the right Azure solutions
  • Leading Azure discovery sessions, value workshops and proposal conversations
  • Working with Microsoft to create co-sell motions and funded engagements
  • Building compelling business cases that resonate with both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Influencing deal strategy to improve win rates and accelerate time to close
  • Acting as the Azure subject matter expert during bids, tenders and customer presentations
Ideal experience
  • Strong Azure service knowledge without being an engineer
  • Background in a commercial role. sales, overlay sales or solution selling in the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Confident leading customer conversations and shaping opportunities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft commercial models, CSP and how Azure consumption drives value
  • Able to translate technical capability into commercial outcomes that win deals
  • Azure certifications such as AZ 900 or AZ 104 are a plus
  • Natural communicator with a commercial edge and the drive to help sales teams win
