Role Summary

Senior Dev Ops Engineer – Cloud Platform & Site Reliability

Team: LSEG Risk Intelligence Engineering

We’re looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to help drive innovation, implement modern Dev Ops practices, and contribute to the evolution of our cloud‑native infrastructure.

• Automate full‑stack infrastructure using Terraform and Git Lab
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Git Lab CI to enable fast, secure and reliable software delivery
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads using Amazon EKS and Istio Service Mesh for service discovery, traffic management and observability
• Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure high availability, performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with development and business goals
• Continuously improve systems through automation, performance tuning and process optimisation
• Contribute to our Dev Ops culture, sharing knowledge and best practices across the team

• Demonstrable AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) expertise
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Git Lab CI and Bash/Python
• Experience with orchestration and monitoring tools – Istio, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK
• 4+ years in Dev Ops or Platform Engineering roles
• Proven experience building and operating cloud‑native platforms
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and collaboration skills

• Development experience in a major language (Java, C++, C#, etc.)
• AWS certifications and financial services background
