Position: Manager / Senior Manager - Technical Project Manager

We are looking for talented Technical Project Managers at the Manager and Senior Manager level to join the Technical Project Management team within a leading global technology transformation consultancy. This role focuses on guiding large-scale corporate clients through complex technology journeys, from initial strategy through to final implementation, helping them adapt and align with the technical changes in their respective markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead cross-functional project teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery aligned with strategic client objectives
  • Translate complex technical changes into business-friendly artefacts, enabling stakeholders to evaluate operational impacts effectively
  • Lead and contribute to business development activities, including proposals, RFPs, bids, and the development of new market propositions
  • Maintain full accountability for project budgets and timelines, ensuring delivery within a consulting environment
  • Drive internal practice growth through campaign development, whitepapers, and contributing to recruitment and mentoring activities
  • Act as a primary link between technical delivery teams and executive leadership, presenting status updates and technical impacts with clarity
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of digital transformation service offers across strategy, design, and delivery
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in project leadership within a management consulting environment, specifically managing multi-disciplinary teams and external vendors
  • Exceptional stakeholder communication skills, with a proven ability to influence at all levels from technical teams to C-suite executives
  • Proven expertise in financial management, including direct responsibility for significant project budgets and reporting
  • Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear business narratives and strategic roadmaps
  • Experience in business development, including a track record of supporting or leading successful RFP responses and client pitches
  • Flexibility to travel for client assignments across the UK as required
