Infrastructure Engineer; Data Center - Yorkshire Humber

Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year

• We support, operate, and maintain a large‑scale on‑premise enterprise test lab environment.
• We validate firewall, switching, storage, and virtualisation configurations.
• We troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• We handle IP management, network connectivity, SAN storage, and VMware environments.
• We maintain accurate documentation and workflow tracking via JIRA.
• We translate infrastructure requirements into structured test builds.
• We collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams.

We are hiring an Infrastructure Engineer/Lab Engineer for a large‑scale enterprise testing environment based in a data centre setting in West Yorkshire. This is an initially 6‑month contract inside IR35, with a day rate of £300‑£380. The role is technically deep and focused on planning, building, coordinating, and operating enterprise test environments prior to rollout. We are looking for someone who understands enterprise infrastructure end to end and can work closely with our infrastructure, network, and security teams to support a high‑quality testing environment.
