IT Manager

Salary: £52,000 - 62,500 per year

• Strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship‑building skills
• Confidence in challenging suppliers and communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience managing outsourced IT services or managed service providers
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365, IT service management, cybersecurity, and IT governance
• Previous leadership or people management experience
• Ability to mentor and support others to succeed
• Experience with in education, healthcare, charities, housing, or another regulated environment is advantageous
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, or project management methodologies is advantageous
• An enhanced DBS check is required

• Act as the bridge between us and our managed service providers
• Take ownership of relationships with managed service providers and technology suppliers
• Ensure service levels, projects, and support meet expectations
• Work with stakeholders across our organisation to identify opportunities where technology can improve efficiency and support growth
• Oversee IT governance, budgeting, cybersecurity, compliance, and business continuity
• Provide leadership and mentoring to our internal IT support colleague
• Focus on ensuring the right technology, people, and partners are in place to support the organisation

We are recruiting for an IT Manager based in Loughborough, with a working arrangement of 2 to 3 days a week in the office and a condensed week considered. This is a varied and influential role with a salary of up to £52,000 to £62,500, offering the chance to lead technology, influence strategy, and make a real difference.
