New Opportunity - SEO Copywriter
Are you an experienced Copywriter, who enjoys understanding how things work, researching technical topics, and turning complex information into accurate, authoritative content that performs in search?
Our client is looking for an SEO Copywriter to produce clear, well-researched technical content that explains complex automotive systems to garages, mechanics, and technicians.
You will take ownership of content from research and ideation through to publication, using SEO tools and best practices to ensure strong search performance while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
As the new SEO Copywriter, you will:- Write clear, accurate, and informative technical content focused on automotive electronic systems
- Translate complex technical information into engaging, easy-to-understand content for garages and technicians
- Develop a strong technical understanding of the company's services and internal processes to inform content creation
- Conduct in-depth research and interpret fault data to support content and wider marketing strategies
- Apply keyword research and SEO best practices to improve search visibility and performance
- Monitor and analyse content performance, making data-driven improvements where needed
- Proven copywriting or journalism experience, ideally within a technical subject area such as automotive, engineering, electronics, or science
- Strong research skills with the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar technical systems
- Excellent written English and a high level of attention to detail
- A good understanding of SEO best practices (training will be provided)
- Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz
- An interest in automotive technology and a willingness to develop a deep understanding of technical systems and services
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
- Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console

- Salary for this role is between £27,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
- This is a full-time, permanent position based in the offices in Heanor.
- Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
