International Software House is looking for a User Interface Designer with some UX experience. You will be joining a small but growing design team, working within an agile development team on both web and mobile projects.

Our East Midlands based client has multiple locations around the world, invests heavily in research and development, and offers a modern office with free parking commutable from Nottingham, Leicester and Derby.

• Creating attractive user interfaces and visuals for our client’s product range.
• Applying best practice principles of user interface and interaction design.
• Conducting user experience research and usability testing.
• Developing personas, requirements gathering, user journeys, flows, site maps, wireframes and mock-ups.
• Working with development teams to maintain UI governance.
• Preparing and conducting workshops and presenting results to stakeholders.

A competency level of 2 years commercial experience is required, complemented by a relevant degree or equivalent. An impressive portfolio demonstrating design progression from early sketches to high-def mock-ups is essential. Proficiency in graphics programs such as Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or similar, and prototyping tools such as Axure, is required.

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum, 29 days holiday, pension, health and flexible benefits.
