International Software House is looking for a User Interface Designer with some UX experience to work on web and mobile applications. Do you have a portfolio showcasing the UX process you adopt, (like wireframes, sketches, flows, maps etc.). Can you provide a detailed case study?

Our East Midlands based client has around 300+ employees and invests heavily every year in Research & Development to keep their products at the forefront of technology. They offer a ring‑fenced training budget and continual personal development opportunities. Offices are modern with free parking and are commutable from Nottingham, Leicester and Derby.

• Creating attractive user interfaces and visuals for the client’s product range
• Applying best practice principles of user interface and interaction design
• User experience research and usability testing
• Profiling, personas, requirements gathering, user journeys and flows, site maps, wireframes and mock‑ups
• Working with development teams to maintain UI governance
• Preparing and conducting workshops and presenting the results to stakeholders

A competency level of 2 years commercial experience is required, complemented by a relevant degree (or equivalent). We are looking for an impressive portfolio that demonstrates design from early sketches through to high‑definition mock‑ups and an understanding of graphics programs such as Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator or others, as well as prototyping tools such as Axure or others.

Salary: £32,000 – £37,000 per annum
