International Software House is looking for an excellent Data Architect / Lead Database Administrator with experience of heading up a team of DBAs. You will work closely with development teams and colleagues in the development of the architecture of their software products.

We need a Data Architect who has a strong commercial background working their way up the ranks from SQL DBA to Architect with an understanding of information systems & data life-cycle management best practices as well as methodologies, SELC/SDLC.

• Data modelling
• Data policies development
• Data warehousing
• SQL development & administration

• Developing and owning a data strategy and associated policies
• Responsible for Data governance, Data architecture principles and standards
• Identifying improvements in our data systems
• Involvement in selecting the best systems for addressing data storage, retrieval and management
• Leading the DBA Team
• Project Management

Working as a Data Architect, you will be responsible for building key relationships between business functions and ensuring that technology requirements are identified and met. The role includes the delivery of activities following an agile way of working on multiple projects at any one time.

This role is commutable from Nottingham, Chesterfield, Sheffield, Newark and Mansfield.
