This role involves taking overall responsibility for eliciting, understanding and translating requirements and mapping them to the Microsoft Business Application technologies used to deliver them. You will work on delivering projects for clients across a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on delivering Business Applications.

If you have experience within rapid prototyping, especially within Microsoft D365 where you are comfortable creating working interactive prototypes, that would be considered an advantage.

• Rapid prototyping client requirements to realise value fast
• Driving the business towards early design decisions through entity modelling
• Assisting customers in mapping high level business requirements to low level functional requirements and identifying issues and opportunities for improvement
• Challenging assumptions
• Identifying risk and providing solutions
• Influencing stakeholders both internally and with clients
• Ensuring requirements demonstrate business value
• Performing 'Fit Gap' analysis as part of process design exercises
• Mapping 'As Is' and 'To Be' processes
• Playing a part in solution envisioning
• Playing a part in the presales process
• Working with Solution and Enterprise Architects, Business owners, and Business Analyst Teams to understand fully customer requirements and document accordingly
• Leading client workshops to scope and define projects
• Prioritising and executing tasks for each project
• Modelling, POC's and both lo-fi and hi-fi wireframes
• Leading user-first training programmes, designed by you
• Liaising with client business owners, business analysts and development teams to confirm requirements in the context of the platform, software or tools chosen to deliver
• Managing the end-to-end requirements management process in Azure Dev Ops
• Playing a part in test cycles to support QA testers and business users when resolving issues and bugs
• Ensuring requirements traceability at each stage
• Managing and measuring solution benefits mapped to business cases
• Ensuring systems and changes are smoothly transitioned into operation including supporting documentation and required user training
• Managing the scope of your work and controlling scope creep
• Playing a part in the presales process, providing work estimates and demos
• Mentoring junior Business Analysts
• Providing clear direction to more junior BA's at project level
• Promoting the BA function across the organisation
• Enhancing standards and process at a practice level
• Identifying opportunities for new business within existing engagements

Required:

• Demonstrable Senior Business Analyst experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication skills
• Results focused mindset
• Understanding of different approaches when eliciting requirements in both waterfall and agile projects
• Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to prepare for and conduct requirements workshops
• Experience working within a consultancy or people services organisation delivering business applications projects

Preferred:

• Experience delivering Microsoft Business Applications projects
• Knowledge of no-code/low-code tools such as configurable CRM systems, Power Apps, Dynamics 365 or similar tooling
• Experience creating working interactive prototypes
• Ability to configure both real working proof of concepts as well as traditional wireframes and visualisations
