Technical Engineer – IT Operations

• Implement and monitor cloud solutions for performance, cost, and security
• Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to implement robust security measures
• Develop automation scripts for efficient cloud resource management
• Provide technical guidance on complex Azure infrastructure issues
• Stay current with Azure services and assess their relevance to the business
• Document and maintain cloud architectures and configurations
• Manage backup and recovery processes in collaboration with the team
• Conduct system installations, configurations, and upgrades
• Help define technical standards and support protocols
• Assist the IT Service Desk with hardware, software, and networking issues
• Take ownership of assigned technical projects
• Support mobile device management and app deployment

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
• Experience with Intune deployment
• 3+ years working in Azure cloud environments, ideally within professional services
• Strong grasp of cloud computing and emerging tech trends
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with Meraki Wireless and switching
• Experience with Sophos XG Firewalls
• Experience with Sophos Endpoint Protection
• Experience with Mimecast
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
• Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive under pressure
