GenAI Platform Operations Lead

The Oasis SRE Technical Lead is a senior hands-on technical leadership role responsible for the reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence of the Oasis Platform. Working at the intersection of Operations and Platform Engineering, you'll drive improvements in automation, observability, Dev Ops practices, and AI-powered operations while leading and mentoring a high-performing team. This role is ideal for an experienced SRE, Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Operations professional who is passionate about solving complex challenges and enhancing platform resilience at scale.
Skillsand experience we’re looking for:
- Deep Cloud & Kubernetes Expertise – Strong hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting large-scale cloud-native platforms, particularly AWS, EKS / ECS and containerised workloads in production environments.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) & Operational Excellence – Proven experience improving platform reliability, resilience, observability and incident management through SRE principles, automation and data-driven operational practices.
- Dev Ops & Automation Mindset – Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), Git Ops and operational automation, with a focus on reducing manual effort and improving service quality.
- Technical Leadership & Coaching – Ability to provide technical direction, mentoring and support to Operations Engineers and SREs, acting as the senior escalation point for complex platform issues and major incidents.
- Continuous Improvement & Emerging Technologies – Demonstrated ability to identify and deliver platform improvements, including leveraging AIOps, AI-driven operations and modern tooling to enhance efficiency, scalability and operational maturity.

- Salary circa £65,000 - £74,000 for National based (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity 10% of annual salary
