Senior/Lead Engineer | Nottingham | Hybrid | £65,000-£75,000
About the Role:
We're partnering with an established and growing data business based in Nottingham to find a talented Senior/Lead Engineer to take ownership of their cloud infrastructure and help shape the next stage of their platform.
This is a hybrid position, with a minimum of 1 day per month required in the Nottingham office.
The Opportunity:
This is a hands-on role offering genuine ownership and influence. You'll be responsible for the reliability, security, scalability and cost-effectiveness of the company's Azure and Dev Ops estate, while helping transition infrastructure from manually managed environments into a modern, automated and repeatable platform.
You'll play a key role in a significant cloud separation and migration programme, working across Azure, GCP and modern data platforms. You'll also have the opportunity to establish and improve Dev Ops standards, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, monitoring and disaster recovery practices as the business continues to grow its B2B API and data platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the company's Azure cloud estate, ensuring security, reliability and cost efficiency.
Lead the adoption of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
