Salary: £30 - 35,000 + bonus and benefits

Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career in insurance? A leading marine insurance company is seeking a Claims Assistant to join their experienced claims team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Claims Manager, you’ll assist with the day-to-day administration and processing of marine insurance claims. You’ll be exposed to real cases, learn the fundamentals of claims handling, and develop a strong foundation in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the claims team with administrative tasks and documentation
• Assist in logging and tracking claims accurately in internal systems
• Liaise with brokers, clients, and internal departments
• Help compile reports and maintain claims files
• Learn and apply insurance principles and procedures
• Provide general support to the Claims Manager and wider team

About You

• Recent graduate (Finance, Business, Law, or related field preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Keen to learn and grow within the insurance industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Previous admin experience is a plus but not essential
