Claims Handler

Overview

Join our Tier 1 Financial & Professional Risks (FPR) team, recognised nationally for its defendant professional negligence expertise. Working within our delegated authority claims handling team, you will manage a varied caseload of professional indemnity and third-party property damage claims on behalf of insurer clients.

• Manage pre-litigated insurance claims from instruction through to resolution.
• Investigate claims, assess policy coverage, and develop resolution strategies.
• Build strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, and insurer clients.
• Provide regular updates on claim progress, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain accurate records and support wider team objectives.

• Experience in insurance claims handling or pre-litigated matters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proactive, professional, and adaptable approach to work.
