The Supply Chain Controller will oversee supply planning, demand planning, customer service and logistics operations globally for this business, ensuring efficiency and cost‑effectiveness within the FMCG industry. This role requires expertise in supply chain strategy, S&OP/IBP experience, leading large functions and process optimisation.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support operational goals.
- Manage supplier relationships to secure optimal terms and ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor inventory levels and streamline procurement processes to minimise waste and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and drive cost savings initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies within the supply chain function.
- Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team to achieve operational excellence.
- Report on key performance indicators and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Experience in procurement and supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
- Proven ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A track record of achieving cost savings and operational improvements.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations in the industry.
- Proven capability of leading large teams.
- SAP experience.
- S&OP/IBP experience.
- Competitive salary between £90,000 and £100,000 per annum.
- Car allowance of circa £10,000 per year.
