Description
Oversee the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.
Monitor and manage stock levels to maintain optimal inventory control.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier agreements.
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Prepare reports and provide insights on supply chain performance to senior stakeholders.
Profile
A successful Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator should have:
Experience in procurement and supply chain within a manufacturing business.
A strong understanding of inventory management and supplier coordination.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for procurement and inventory tracking.
