Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Salary Up  to £12.87/hr Job Type Temporary Job  Discipline Facilities Management including Cleaning### Opus People Solutions are excited to recruit on behalf of Vertas for a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the Facilities Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining outdoor spaces and enjoys working as part of a team to deliver high standards across school environments.

* Location:

** Newark (travel between multiple school sites) or NG5 6NZ
   
*
* Hours:

** Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30   
*
* Contract:

** Temporary (with potential to become permanent)###

Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining school outdoor areas to a high standard
* Grass cutting and general grounds upkeep
* Operating equipment such as strimmers and other powered tools
* Marking out football pitches and running track lines
* Ensuring all areas are tidy, safe, and presentable at all times
* Travelling between various school locations across the Newark area### Requirements
* A full UK driving licence (essential)
* Enhanced DBS check (required due to working in schools)
* Previous grounds maintenance or similar experience desirable
* Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and power tools
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
