The Role and About YouWe are seeking a dedicated individual to join our night shift train cleaning team. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining the highest cleanliness standards through Full & Deep Cleans before trains return to service, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for thousands of passengers. You will be responsible for deep cleaning, which includes meticulous interior cleaning such as mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting all surfaces, cleaning upholstery, and performing touchpoint sanitisation.
You will be working as part of the cleaning team at Eastcroft Depot and Nottingham Station.

Responsibilities- Perform full and deep cleans before trains return to service.
- Mop, vacuum and disinfect all interior surfaces, including upholstery.
- Sanitise touchpoints to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Adhere to the scheduled shift pattern of four days on and four days off.
- Work hours are 19:00 to 05:00, with overtime available at management discretion.
- Begin with an initial 4‑6 week period at Nottingham Station while receiving support to obtain Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.
- Experience in vehicle, industrial or house cleaning.
- Possesses a keen eye for detail and takes pride in delivering a clean and safe environment for passengers.
- Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off.
- Working hours:
19:00 pm – 05:00 am. - Overtime available at management discretion.
- Pay rate: £14.93 per hour.
- Initial 4‑6 week placement at Nottingham Station with support to obtain PTS certification.
