Senior Mechanical Installation Engineer Overseas Travel

In return, you will receive a competitive starting salary of c £40,000 plus overtime opportunities. Salary will increase with length of service and improvement of skillset.

• HNC or apprentice trained in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Must be flexible with around 60% field-based UK and overseas travel
• Experienced in the assembly and testing of electromechanical systems
• Demonstrable attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset
• Excellent team player with demonstrable experience of leading and mentoring small teams of Engineers
• Must hold a clean UK driving license
• Must hold a valid UK passport

• Perform regular on-site installations and servicing of bespoke machinery and equipment
• Ensure all technical issues are resolved within a timely and professional manner
• Schedule site installs, including supporting logistics planning and procurement of materials
• Oversee and assist with assembly of mechanical products and cabling equipment
• Read and interpret engineering diagrams and cable/wiring layout diagrams
• Act as escalation point of contact for all customer related queries and complaints
• Ensure installations are completed within the agreed SLA timescales
• Travel to various customer sites throughout the UK and overseas ensuring that customers are fully aware of the correct usage of products
