Job Description1 Month Contract with a Local Authority
Job PurposeAs a Cleaner , you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment across classrooms, offices and communal areas within a school setting.
Key Duties/Accountabilities- Clean classrooms, offices and corridors.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Dust, wipe and sanitise surfaces.
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
- Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards.
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Support the cleanliness and presentation of the school environment.
- Experience working in schools, public buildings or commercial premises desirable.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual approach to work.
- Understanding of cleaning standards and health & safety requirements.
- Monday to Friday.
- We work on bi-weekly payment schedule.
