This is your chance to make an impact that goes far beyond your role—leading visible change and driving projects that shape the future of our industry. We’re looking for people who make things happen; those who thrive on delivering meaningful outcomes and influencing the bigger picture.

And because we know flexibility matters, this role offers a hybrid working approach—a mix of home and office working and you’ll also have the freedom to base yourself at any of our sites across the East Midlands, West Midlands, South West, or Wales, with travel to NGED locations 2–3 times a week.

  • Establish robust measures, KPIs, and targets to track benefits and ensure programmes achieve intended results.
  • Facilitate governance forums and reporting to track progress and review performance, benefits realisation, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Partner with Finance and business leaders to develop compelling business cases with clear assumptions and outcomes.
  • Act as a proactive programme leader, challenging delivery teams constructively, driving accountability, and ensuring risks are identified and managed.
  • Bring thought leadership and best practice in transformation management to embed sustainable change.
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven track record in delivering enterprise-wide, multi-year business transformation and change including developing transformation roadmaps, defining KPIs and benefits cases, change management, and managing complex programmes.
  • Strong programme and dependency management skills, with experience overseeing enterprise-wide, multi-year initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and manage complex projects/programmes across diverse stakeholders and extended teams.
  • Experience in the energy industry, ideally within a complex, regulated business environment.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with critical thinking skills to identify root causes, define drivers, and create actionable plans that deliver results at pace.
