Person specification Training & Qualifications Essential criteria- Educated to degree level or demonstrable significant experience of working within a similar role / relevant field Evidence of continuous professional development

- Recent significant experience of working in a Corporate Governance field
- A proven track record of taking minutes at high level meetings and transcribe minutes to a high standard.
- Experience of absorbing highly complex and confidential information and determining what information needs to be recorded
- Evidence of providing support and advice to Senior Leaders in respect to corporate governance within the remit of their role
- Previous experience of working in a confidential, sensitive, pressured deadline driven environment.
- Understanding of the role and function of the Board and its committees
- Experience of Co-Pilot
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fully computer literate with knowledge of Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and Intranet
- Ability to work autonomously when required
- Previous experience of building relationships and influencing colleagues at all levels and across multiple departments.
- Ability to obtain, absorb, analyse, interpret and communicate complex information rapidly, while retaining attention to detail
- Able to 'think on your feet' and make fact-based decisions
- Able to multi-task and continue to function to a high standard when under pressure
- Previous experience of analysing large data sets of information and providing advice to senior leaders based on analysis.
- Must possess and regularly deploy excellent planning and organisational skills, very frequently delivering to tight deadlines, producing detailed work of excellent quality and accuracy
- Recognised team player, flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to manage their workload to meet competing priorities and targets, with minimal supervision
- Previous experience of administering meetings at a senior leadership level.
