Salary

£35,608 to £47,389 per annum pro‑rated, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Role Overview

The Residential Experience (ResX) team, within Student Living, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Residential Experience Manager. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of the ResX Living and Learning programme, manage a team, and use their own initiative to drive positive change in the student experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the ResX Living and Learning programme across multiple campuses, including Sutton Bonington and off‑campus halls.

• Supervise a staff team, ensuring the delivery of events and activities on site and maintaining high standards of customer service.

• Plan and execute events, working closely with the ResX management team.

• Maintain a high level of detail and professionalism in all activities conducted within the halls of residence.

• Drive between university sites as required; a full, current driving licence is mandatory.

• Operate within a full‑time (36.25 hours per week) schedule, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience using Office 365, Teams, and creative planning processes.

• Demonstrable leadership and communication skills in person and in writing.

• Experience in team management, event planning, and fostering student engagement is desirable.

• Ability to develop a positive, engaging work environment and enable staff to meet high standards.
