Supply Chain Project Manager (12–18 Month Contract | EMEA Scope | Potential for Permanent)

We are seeking a hands‑on, execution-focused Supply Chain Project Manager or an experienced Operations Manager with the ability to lead complex projects across the EMEA region. This role is critical in driving operational efficiency, and transformation across our manufacturing and supply chain network.

If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, excel at cross‑functional delivery, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves on‑site when needed, this is an outstanding opportunity.

We are open to accepting applicants based within the East Midlands, or close to our Production facility in Washington Tyne and Wear.

What You Will Do

As the Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of projects - from business case to stabilisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own and lead end‑to‑end Supply Chain projects across the EMEA zone
  • Develop robust business cases, including analysis, stakeholder mapping, and aligned project plans
  • Run steering meetings with project and leadership teams, providing clear status updates and escalation where required
  • Manage the full project timeline, critical path, risks, dependencies, and mitigations
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Product, Operations, IT, and Logistics
  • Work with Finance to track actuals vs plan/budget
  • Drive continuous improvement, simplifying processes, automating reporting, and embedding a data‑driven culture
  • Hold teams accountable for actions, timelines, and delivery milestones
What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines strong project management skills with real operational understanding:

  • 5+ years in Project Management within Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing
  • OR an Operations Leader with strong project management capability
  • Project Management certification (e.g., Prince2 or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge, and engage senior stakeholders
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget and resource control
  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain principles - inventory, logistics, operations
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MES systems
  • Excellent communication skills with cultural awareness across EMEA stakeholders
  • Strong data analytical mindset and comfort with multiple data sources and tools
  • Fluent English; additional languages highly beneficial
  • Hands‑on execution capability - willing to be on‑site, and work closely with shop‑floor teams
  • Flexibility – this role will involve regular travel within the UK and also within Europe
Why Join Us?

This is a rare opportunity to make a tangible impact on the shape and efficiency of a complex, multinational Supply Chain. You’ll have exposure to senior leadership, autonomy to drive change, and the ability to influence transformation across EMEA.
